    GOLDEN BRAIN Mental Arithmetic Sdn. Bhd.was established since 1993, clinging to the spirit of professionalism systematic and expertness, to extend the good education to the next generation.
    During the operation, GOLDEN BRAIN constantly urge all colleagues and associates centers to carry their service with " five aims " : persistent heart, care, concern, patience and enterprising attitude. This operating philosophy can truly improve the quality of education,delivering a happy learning enviroment to our student and assurance to their  parents.
    Over the years, GOLDEN BRAIN Mental Arithmetic is constantly attending and working in alliance with many domestic and foreign educational institutions to carry out the academic exchanges in order to draw more valuable resources and experience to improve the quality of education and management.
   Operating objectives were highlighted in the media's interview (RTM1, Astro) and featured in our local TV and newspaper as main coverage. We are honoured to be appointed by The Chinese International Abacus Mental Arithmetic Association (CIAMA) and The Chinese Utility Resources Society as the representative in Malaysia, we are also the only one who are working in alliance with the largest educational institution in China "Beijing Shenmo Education". In addition, we are working in union with Singapore,  United States, Japan, Brazil and several other countries.

The Origin

        The founder, due to his father's business convenient, in year 1983, the grade three primary graduation become his final studying period in Malaysia, his family decided to educate the youngest son (founder) studying in Taiwan. This is the first exposure for Mr. Yap Yoke Teng (David) about the mental arithmetic programme. During the past ten years studies, he is honoured to receive the in-depth knowledge and skills from the two renowned masters - Professor Su Xie Ming Tune and Professor Lee Kuhn Long.
     In 1993, through his father and friends arrangement, because of the goal, "which enables to all Malaysians through studying mental arithmetic, to stimulate the brain and improve the learning purposes." To continue the edge of his father “educates the best knowledge to the next generation”. GOLDEN BRAIN Mental Arithmetic established.
     Since its inception, we have been connecting the academic community and the success of educational institutions to identify successful pursuit of wisdom of the approach to simplify operations, unified quality of service and teaching purposes. Henceforth, we will continue to education, dedication and enthusiasm to work, creating innovative "children's programs" to feedback over the years in support of our parents and community members.

1. Interview by the press reporters’and media

      Our long-term goals have been affirmed by parents and business operators.
Have received interviews from the China Press,Oriental Daily News, Sin Chew Jit Poh and other newspapers.
      In addition, serveral television broadcasterd had recorded our teaching scenarios and teaching sessions with our students at Golden Brain for national broadcast.

2. In 2003,"AMARC Teaching Method" has successfully entered two records into The Malaysia Book of Records - the fastest mental arithmetic calculation.

   After certification unit "The Malaysia Book of Record", to search and verification throughout the country.
   In May 2003,  formally notified  "Golden Brain Mental Arithmetic" is the only to complete  "the fastest mental arithmetic calculation of 10 digits multiply(x) 6 digits (24.10 seconds)" and  "the fastest mental arithmetic calculation of  9 digits digits multiply(x)9 digits  (23.86 seconds),
    A formal announcement were recorded into the series of "The Malaysia Book of Record." This initiative is in the international community is very commendable.
    This achievement marked the mental arithmetic academic in Malaysia has officially reached the international standards, proving "Malaysia can!"(MALAYSIA BOLEH).

3. In 2004, "AMARC educating materials" were honoured listed into  "The Book of Inaugural World's Records" .

       In October 2004, "AMARC Teaching Method and teaching materials" had entered into the " Book of Inaugural World's record". The above was developed by Mr. Yap Yoke Teng based on a fusion of ideas acquired through years of teaching experience. The teaching methods and materials which are specially designed to train the balancing of brain development and suitable for children between 3-12 years old have finally gained its world recognition.

    In the current year "Golden Brain Mental Arithmetic" has successful move a step foward towards to the international recognition. Among the five hundred business units competitive excellence, (including China, Brunei, the United States and India),  we have came to the fore and be awarded "The Excellent Brand Award".This achievement was recognized and recommended in the grobal business community.

    GOLDEN BRAIN珠心算总院从1993年成立,一直秉持着“专人、专业、专精”的精神,推广好的教育给下一代。
    经营期间更是不断督促 GOLDEN BRAIN全体同仁及联营中心负责人必需拥有“五心”(永续心、服务心、进取心、内省心、将心比心”经营的理念才能真正做好教育，以达到让家长“放心”、 学生“开心”的目标。把好的教育传承下去。

    多年以来，GOLDEN BRAIN不断与国内外心算协会团体进行学术交流及研讨，更是向国内外多家成功教育机构吸取宝贵的经验。以提升金头脑的教学及经营品质。
    如此的用心经营，受到本地多家电视台(RTM1, ASTRO)及报章媒体的专题报导。更是受到台湾中华国际心算协会及中华实用珠算研究学会，委任为大马分会代表。与中国最大的教育机构-北京神墨签下了结 盟协议等。除此之外与新加坡、美国、日本、巴西等国家都有联盟。

企业缘起

        创 办人在大马小学三年级毕业后，父亲为了生意上的往来频繁及方便照料的原因。于1983年，决定让小儿子留学台湾，这也就是负责人--叶育程 第一次接触到珠心算的时间。在十余年的求学时期里，更是非常荣幸能受到珠心算界两位知名大师--苏谢铭墩及李宽龙教授的青徕，亲自传授更深入的珠心算学问 及技巧。                

      1993年，透过父亲和大马友人的安排下，抱着“让大马全体同胞也能藉由珠心算的训练，达 到激发大脑、增强学习的目的 ”，同时也完成父亲“从事文教，把好的教学带下一代”的心愿。成立了金头脑珠心算总院。          

      成立以来，除了不断与各国的学术团体交流学术之外，更是致力于接触各成功教育机构，追求成功的智慧及方法，以达到经营简单化，服 务统一化与教学品质化的目的。  今后，金头脑全体同仁，将继续本着敬业乐群的精神与热忱的工作态度，开设创新之“幼儿 课程”，为大马幼教事业尽份心力，以回馈多年以来支持我们的家长及社会人仕。

一、多次接受报章媒体的报导及专访

        长久以来的用心经营受到家长及经营者的肯定，曾接受中国报、星洲日报、东方日报等报章媒体的全版及半版报导。除此之外也让有线电视台、国家电视台，做全天的摄录金头脑学生上课的情形，全于全国播放。

二、2003年“捷心算教学法 AMARC ”以“最快心算计算”列入两项“大马记录大全”

   在经过认证单位“大马记录大全”，向全国各地搜寻及考证后。于2003年5月份正式通知“金头脑珠心算总院 ”是唯一能完成“最快心算10位乘6位数(24.10秒)”及“最快心算9位乘9位数(23.86秒) 的单位，并正式向全国公布入编“大马记录大全”。这项创举就算是在国际上也是非常难能可贵的。这也代表大马的心算学术已正式达到 了国际水准，证明了“大马能!”

三、2004年“捷心算专业教材”荣耀列入“世界首创记录大全”

        在2004年10月间，“捷心算教学法及教材”入“世界首创记录大全”是由 叶育程 融合多年的教学经验，特别针对3岁半至13岁幼儿左右脑的平衡、开发及培养学习能力。具体研究目的是:
1更注重“心算”激发大脑的潜能的功用。2 降低学习年龄层(3岁半便可入学)。3 缩短学习时间，提高效率(3年达心算国际段位程度)。4 突破了语言限制，使全世界的幼童都能学习，而且一样有效。

四、2007年荣获 亚太国际企业家精英奖 -- “卓越品牌大奖”

  “金头脑珠心算总院”于本届奖项成功冲出本土迈向国际，于500名海内外企业界单位竞争卓越，(包括中国、汶莱、美国 及印度)，脱颖而出荣获“卓越品牌大奖”，列入45家得奖企业名单之中， 获得全球企业界的认同及推荐。
